Every year since our creation, we have partnered with the Son of a Saint organization to provide an entire float filled with throws for the boys within that program who earn the reward of riding in a Mardi Gras parade.

In previous years, the donations from our members to these young men have been mostly plastic beads, primarily because they were plentiful and easy to throw. Now, however, since we are no longer throwing plastic beads, we are excited to fill the Son of a Saint float with our new more sustainable throws!

Rather than having members wait until Load In day to select throws from their own piles to put on the boys’ float, we are setting up this donation page so that we might purchase in advance the additional needed sustainable throws from our 2025 suppliers.

Any amount you can give is so appreciated. These young men work so hard all year long to earn a spot in our parade, and we are thrilled we can continue to host them and help them have a fantastic time!
